Check your E-mail settings

Use these settings to make changes to your e-mail client. We have included the most popular email clients from Microsoft and Netscape.



Outlook Express, Outlook 2000 (Windows 95/98/ME/XP/2000)

1. While in Outlook Express, click on the "Tools" menu command, then click on "Accounts".
2. Click on the "Mail" tab on the window that pops up, your email account should be highlighted. (Note: Multiple accounts will require you to repeat this procedure selecting each one in turn.)
3. Click the "Properties" button, the "General" tab will have a Mail Account name this is given at setup and does not need changing.
4. The "Real Name" is your name that you wish people to see when they receive your email. Ex. First A. Last
5. Two (2) fields to check, the Email address field and the Reply to field which should have your correct address here, ex; username@worldpath.net
6. Click on the "Servers" tab
7. Outgoing Mail Server name is smtp.worldpath.net
8. Incoming Mail Server name is pop3.worldpath.net
9. Under Incoming Mail Server,Log on Using Secure Password Authentication should not be checked.
10. Then the "Account Name" is your username (Lowercase letters)
11. "Password" is your normal password (this is case sensitive)
12. Make any corrections necessary, then click OK, then Close.

Outlook 98 (Windows 95/98/ME)

1. While in Outlook, click on the "Tools" menu command, then click on "Services".
2. Click on "Internet E-Mail" to highlight it, then click the "Properties" button.
3. The "General" tab will have a "Mail Account" name; this is given at setup and does not need changing.
4. The "Real Name" is your name that you wish people to see when they receive your email. (i.e. First A. Last)
5. Two (2) fields to check, the "Email address" field and the Reply to field which should have your correct address here, (i.e. username@worldpath.net)
6. Click on the "Servers" tab
7. Outgoing Mail Server name is smtp.worldpath.net
8. Incoming Mail Server name is pop3.worldpath.net
9. Under Incoming Mail Server,Log on Using Secure Password Authentication should not be checked.
10. Then the "Account Name" is your username (Lowercase letters)
11. "Password" is your normal password (this is case sensitive)
12. Make any corrections necessary, then click OK, then Close.

Outlook 97 (Windows 95/98/ME)

1. While in Outlook, click on the "Tools" menu command, then click on "Services".
2. Click on "Internet Mail" to highlight it, then click the "Properties" button.
3. The "General" tab has many fields to check. The "full name" field could have your real name or a friendly name (ie; Bozo T. Clown or just Bozo). The Email address field should have your correct address here, username@worldpath.net.
4. The lower section has a field for mail server name and it should read mail.worldpath.net; the "Account name" is your username (lowercase letters) the password is yours and is case sensitive.
5. Make any corrections necessary, then click OK, then OK.

Internet Mail (Windows 95)

1. While in Internet Mail, click on the "Mail" menu command, then click on "Options".
2. Click on the "Server" tab on the window that pops up.
3. On this screen the "Real Name" is your name that you wish people to see when they receive your email. (i.e. First A. Last)
4. Check the "Email address" field to ensure your correct address is here, ex; username@worldpath.net.
5. Outgoing Mail Server name is smtp.worldpath.net
6. Incoming Mail Server name is pop3.worldpath.net
7. "POP3 Account" is your username (in lowercase letters)
8. "Password" is your normal password (this is case sensitive)
9. Click on "Advanced Options" then near the bottom type your email address in the "Reply To" field, ex; username@worldpath.net
10. Make any corrections necessary, then click OK.

Windows 3.1 - Internet Mail

1. While in Internet Mail, click on the "Mail" menu command, then click on "Options".
2. Click on the "Server" tab on the window that pops up.
3. On this screen, the "Real Name" is your name that you wish people to see when they receive your email. (i.e. First A. Last)
4. Check the "Email address" field to ensure your correct address is here, ex; username@worldpath.net.
5. Outgoing Mail Server name is smtp.worldpath.net
6. Incoming Mail Server name is pop3.worldpath.net
7. "POP3 Account" is your username (in lowercase letters)
8. "Password" is your normal password (this is case sensitive)
9. Make any corrections necessary, then click OK.

Netscape Communicator (Messenger) - 4.0 (All Systems)

1. While in Communicator or Messenger, click on the "Edit" menu command, then click on "Preferences".
2. Click on the + (Macs click the menu icon) to the left of "Mail & Groups". There will be (2) fields to check on the right-hand side, the "Email address" field and the "Reply to" field which should have your correct address here, ex; username@worldpath.net.
3. Make any corrections necessary, then click OK.

Netscape Navigator - 2.0/3.0 (All Systems)

1. While in Navigator, click on the "Options" menu command, then click on "Mail and News Preferences."
2. Click on the "Identity" tab, there will have be (2) fields to check, the "Email address" field and the "Reply" to field which should have your correct address here, ex; username@worldpath.net.
3. Click on the "Servers" tab, the incoming mail server is pop3.worldpath.net, the outgoing mail server is smtp.worldpath.net and the "Logon name" is your username (lowercase letters)
4. Make any corrections necessary, then click OK.
