To Publish using CuteFTP

Configure your FTP program.

• At the FTP Sites Manager, open the Personal Sites folder by double-clicking on the folder.
• Click on the right-hand box where all the personal sites are located using your right mouse button. This will bring up the add/edit/delete box (which is not very obvious).
• Click on Add A Site.
• Site Label: My Home Page (or whatever you want to call it)
• Host Address: unix.worldpath.net
• User ID: your username at WorldPath
• Password: your password at WorldPath
• Login Type: Normal (not anonymous)
• Transfer Type: Auto-Detect (use binary if your FTP program doesn't support auto-detect)
• Initial Remote Directory: type public_html
• Initial Local Directory: enter the directory path of your local HTML files (such as c:\mydocs)
• Click on Connect.
• Click on the large right-hand box using your right mouse button. This is where all the personal sites should be.
  
  

  Click on "Create Directory".
  
  
  
  

• Name the directory "public_html".
• To upload your files, select each file, right mouse click on the file and select Upload.
  
  

Remember to rename your first page to "index.html".
