Pointers for Developing Web Sites
- Keep all your filenames and links in small letters. Your files are going to be placed on a Unix system and the filenames are case sensitive.
- Don't put path statements in your local links such as c:\mydocs\myfile.htm. Use just the filename myfile.htm as your link reference. Keeping all files (html and images) in the same directory is a good way to be sure your web pages will work properly.
- Your first page must be called index.html. If you are using Windows3.x, you can name your first page index.htm and rename it to index.html after you have transferred it to your home directory on the WorldPath Web Server.
